            <description>&lt;p&gt;Company H, 120th IR, 30th infantry. he landed on omaha beach on June 14, 1944 and was discharged in 1945.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Dear Mr. Edward Anderson:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My father served in the 30th Division, 120th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, Company H (60 mm mortar squad).  He also landed at Omaha Beach a week after D-Day.  He fought his way to St. Lo, France.  He was part of the Lost Battalion on Hill 314 at Mortain, France.  He was wounded in Aachen, Germany, in 1944.  &lt;/p&gt;
