Hello everyone. I am trying to find out as much as possible and hopefully even track down photos of my grandfather with his unit, Sgt. Norman E Skiver. From what my sister has turned up he served in the 30th Infantry / 120th Reg. Is this even plausible with him being from Arkansas?
Very new at this, I appreciate any and all help in pointing me in the right research direction. Is there a searcheable roster of some sort somewhere? Does anyone on here recognize his name?
aaaahello Wayne: Yes, S. Sgt. Norman E. Skiver was in the 120th Regiment of the 30th infantry Division, and he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Silver Star Medal.
For further information, please contact me.
